Experienced Machinist

Broadway USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Machinist / Mold Maker to join our growing team in West Berlin, New Jersey. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret CAD drawings/ 2D drawings, engineering drawings, and shop work orders.
• Set up and operate manual and/or CNC milling machines, surface grinders, lathes, and other precision machine tools.
• Build, repair, modify, and maintain molds, tooling, fixtures, and precision components.
• Machine parts to close tolerances while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend process improvements.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with engineering and production teams.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Machinist, Mold Maker, Tool Maker, or in a similar precision manufacturing role.
• Strong knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and precision measurement.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience working to close tolerances with a strong attention to detail.
• Mold-making experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Mastercam or UG (Siemens NX) software is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational, technical, or apprenticeship training in machining or toolmaking is a plus.
