Experienced Outside Sales Representative

Culligan Water of Champaign County is looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to help grow our business and serve homeowners throughout Champaign County and the surrounding communities.

We are looking for someone who brings proven sales skills, personal accountability, and a commitment to providing an excellent customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Conduct company-provided and self-generated sales appointments with homeowners throughout your assigned territory.

• Evaluate customer needs, perform water testing, and recommend appropriate water treatment solutions.

• Present and explain water softeners, filtration systems, reverse osmosis systems, and other residential water treatment products.

• Prepare professional proposals, present pricing options, and confidently close sales.

• Build relationships with prospective and existing customers through consistent communication and follow-up.

• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurate customer records using company technology.

• Meet established sales goals while monitoring appointments, close rates, and overall performance.

• Identify additional opportunities through referrals, customer relationships, and local networking.

• Coordinate with installation, service, and office teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from sale through installation.

• Participate in ongoing sales and product training.

What We're Looking For

• Previous sales experience required, preferably in residential, in-home, B2C, home improvement, or home services sales.

• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

• Confidence conducting customer appointments, presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing sales.

• Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable managing an assigned territory.

• Willingness to learn water testing, treatment applications, and product recommendations.

• Ability to use CRM software, email, and other sales technology.

• Valid driver's license.

• Familiarity with Champaign County and surrounding communities is a plus.

Water treatment experience is not required. We can teach you about water. We're looking for someone who already understands how to build trust, uncover customer needs, and turn opportunities into sales.
