Company Overview:

A Brooklyn hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Critical Care ICU, Stepdown/CPCU (Cardiopulmonary Progressive Care Unit), Telemetry, and Emergency Department positions.

Position Overview:

Provide direct nursing care to patients with critical illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with critical illnesses, cardiac conditions, respiratory disorders, trauma, acute medical emergencies, and post-operative complications.
  • Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient conditions, including those requiring cardiac monitoring and intensive care interventions.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  • Accurately document patient care using electronic medical records (EPIC/Allscripts).
Requirements:
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN highly preferred)
  • ICU: 1–2 years of Critical Care/ICU experience required
  • Stepdown/CPCU, Telemetry & ED: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in ICU, Telemetry, Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical, or Stepdown units
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong written, verbal, and computer skills
  • Experience with EPIC, Allscripts, and Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Pay Range: USD $60.84 - USD $60.84 /Hr.
