The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced sign fabricator to join our team and help produce high-quality signage that meets client specifications, brand standards, and project deadlines. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of materials, tools, and fabrication techniques.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom signs using materials such as aluminum, acrylic, vinyl, wood, steel, and other specialty substrates.
- Read and interpret work orders, shop drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.
- Operate shop equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently, including shears, saws, routers, etc.
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, durability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication environment.
- Collaborate with project managers, installers, and other team members to support successful project completion.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sign fabrication or a closely related fabrication field.
- Strong knowledge of signage materials, production methods, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, measurements, and production instructions.
- Proficiency with fabrication tools, equipment, and shop safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project demands.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed in a shop setting.
