Core Responsibilities
- Execute repairs efficiently based on repair orders and in strict accordance with dealership and manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose major vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Utilize electronic diagnostic equipment and specialized service tools to test-drive vehicles and assess components.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide accurate time estimates and report any additional required vehicle services.
- Perform warranty repairs to precise manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional automotive technician experience (Journeyman or A-Level preferred).
- Technical Mastery: Strong A-level capabilities in advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and heavy engine repair.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Tools & Tech: Proficient with electronic diagnostic equipment; experience with CDK dealer management software is a strong plus.
- Attributes: A positive attitude, a strong customer-service mentality, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Requirements: Valid Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle record acceptable to dealership insurance guidelines.
