    EXPERIENCED TRANSMISSION TECHNICIAN
    Best Chevrolet | Kenner, Louisiana
    Best Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Transmission Technician to join our growing Service Department!
    We are seeking a skilled, dependable technician with strong diagnostic and repair abilities and experience working on automotive transmissions. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and is committed to providing an exceptional customer experience.
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace automotive transmissions and related components
    • Perform transmission inspections and identify mechanical and electrical issues
    • Conduct diagnostic testing and determine necessary repairs
    • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer specifications
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
    • Properly document repairs and communicate findings as needed
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Previous professional transmission repair experience required
    • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
    • Ability to accurately diagnose transmission-related concerns
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
    • Must be able to complete a background check, MVR check, drug test, and physical
