Wage: $11-12/hour

Shift: AM shifts only, 8:45am - 3pm.  Part time (15 hours per week). Mon-Sat. Includes some holidays.

Summary:Start your day doing something extraordinary! As an Explorer at Thanksgiving Point’s Museum of Ancient Life, you’ll help guests of all ages discover the wonders of prehistoric life while creating memorable, hands-on learning experiences. From exploring one of the world’s largest displays of mounted dinosaurs to watching our Paleontologist unearth a 150-million-year-old Barosaurus, you’ll help bring science and discovery to life.

Responsibilities:

• Must have morning availability.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with a willingness to collaborate and give and receive constructive feedback.
• A friendly, enthusiastic, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in helping guests learn and explore.
• Comfort initiating conversations with guests and confidently reinforcing safety expectations.
• Patience and professionalism in a busy, energetic, and sometimes noisy environment.
• Willingness to learn cash handling, register operation, and guest engagement techniques.
• Comfort working indoors, around crowds, and with tasks such as feeding fish.
• Ability to perform physical duties that may include lifting up to 25 pounds, climbing stairs, bending, standing for extended periods, and manipulating small objects.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
