In this role, you will help keep vehicles running safely and efficiently by performing routine maintenance services, inspections, and basic repair tasks in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services.
- Inspect vehicles for visible wear, leaks, and maintenance needs.
- Check and replace filters, wiper blades, belts, bulbs, and other common service items as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to service advisors or supervisors.
- Follow manufacturer recommendations and company procedures for all services performed.
- Use tools, equipment, and safety practices properly to ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Provide courteous support to team members and contribute to an efficient service workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive maintenance, quick lube, or related mechanical work is preferred.
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and routine service procedures.
- Ability to use hand tools and service equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance inspections.
- Experience working in a dealership, independent shop, or quick service center.
