Express Lube Technician – Hermitage, PA

Diehl Chevrolet/Toyota of Hermitage is hiring an Express Lube Technician / Quick Lube Technician to join our growing automotive service team in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.

Express Lube Technician Responsibilities

As an Express Lube Technician at Diehl Chevrolet/Toyota of Hermitage, you'll perform essential maintenance services while helping our service department provide an efficient and professional experience for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Complete tire rotations and tire pressure checks
• Check and top off vehicle fluids
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections
• Inspect tires, brakes, belts, hoses, filters, and other basic vehicle components
• Replace engine air filters and cabin air filters
• Replace windshield wipers and other basic maintenance items
• Assist with basic automotive maintenance and light repairs
• Identify potential maintenance and repair needs
• Communicate inspection findings to Service Advisors
• Properly document completed services and inspections
• Safely operate vehicle lifts, automotive tools, and service equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow Chevrolet, Toyota, and dealership service procedures
• Help maintain an efficient flow of vehicles through the service department

Qualifications

We're looking for motivated and dependable individuals who want to develop their skills and build a career in the automotive industry.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous quick lube, dealership, tire shop, or automotive service experience is a plus
• Basic automotive mechanical knowledge
• Ability to safely use automotive hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Willingness to learn and complete additional automotive training
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, Service Advisors, and management
• Valid driver's license

Entry-level automotive candidates are encouraged to apply.

Experience with Chevrolet, Toyota, GM, ASE-certified repair facilities, independent repair shops, quick-lube centers, tire shops, or other automotive dealerships is a plus but not required.
