Job Description:Exterior Feasibility Systems Engineer will work as the feasibility leader between Design & Release Engineering and Studio Engineering to help do the following: (a) Help establish engineering hard points to guide Studio's Class A Surface Creation (communicated via Master Sections creation). (b) Assess Studio Surface Release to the engineering requirements (supported by D&R Engineers and Suppliers). (c) Part of Co-Creation team to find solutions and address disconnects between Studio Surface and EngineeringRequirements:CAD experience is mandatoryBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.3+ Years of Design & Release, Design Studio, Integration or related experience in Body Exterior.Good interpersonal skills and leadership behaviors.Systems/ Integration experience working with cross functional team setting is a plus.Experience in CATIA/3DX/Team Center is a plus.Feasibility Engineer will be assigned to be the Vehicle Rear End Specialist.Prior Experience in Liftgate/ Tailgate/ PU Box/ Bumper/ Fascia/ Taillamps is highly preferred.Ability to draw 2D feasibility sections to guide studio surface development.Knowledge of injection mold tooling, design, and manufacturing processes.Knowledge of sheet metal stamping, 2D CAD geometric compatibility/optimization.Experience working in a studio environment.Additional Information:***HYBRID / 4 days per week in the office***Use of AI Technology:Unless expressly authorized in the interview/skill set validation instructions, candidates may not use AI tools or other third-party assistance during an interview or assessment to generate or provide substantive answers to interview questions.
