An Extrusion Press Department Operator uses a variety of industrial machines to extrude high quality aluminum parts in a variety of shapes from ingots of aluminum. These parts are used in the production of architectural grade windows. A vital part of the job is ensuring that all processes are followed in an environment that puts safety as the top priority. Duties include operating industrial equipment including extrusion press, stretching equipment, chop saws, forklift, and ovens for heating aluminum and tempering parts. On-the-job training is provided and hourly wage is dependent upon experience. Both day and night shifts are available. |
