Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire - Sowerby Primary Academy

Sowerby Primary Academy is part of Elevate Multi Academy Trust.  We are seeking to recruit a Teacher to join our Early Years Team for January 2027.  This post is a temporary position to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for a candidate who is:

•        experienced with early years provision and KS1 expectations
•        passionate about education and inspiring children
•        talented primary practitioners with high expectations and standards, who will be committed to our 'no child gets left behind' approaches
•        able to demonstrate outstanding teaching skills within the primary age range
•        able to inspire and embody the ethos and values of the school
•        committed to working as part of the whole school team, leading by example and making the most of each day
