Propulsion, Aerodynamics and Avionic DER's needed for part-time Consulting roles - 0109

Keltia just attended the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg and we have several remote/online DER Part-Time Consulting roles available in the area of Aircraft Propulsion, Aerodynamics and Avionics.

Job Responsibilities

• Specifically these roles is to support the ODA in the qualification, testing and certification of major aircraft interior components for STC programs.
• Contributes expertise as a DER technical specialist and SME in the review of STC and OEM line fit program designs.
• Role may include complex assignments such as overseeing several projects simultaneously in a schedule intensive environment.
• It may require preparation and reviews of test drawings, test plans, test reports, and qualification documents.
• Reviews engineering design changes and prepares major/minor determinations
• Candidate is required to possess strong knowledge of FAA policy related to acceptable methods of compliance (MOC's)
• Proficiency with aerospace OEM drawings and documentation.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional manner with design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, program management, and customer during product/data development to ensure all aspects are considered from the outset.
• Independent DER ticket is highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Working knowledge of FAA and FCAA processes for PCs, TSOs, PMAs including FAA Orders
• Working knowledge of STC projects and cost plans
• Working knowledge of FCAA certification processes for STCs
• Experience interfacing with engineering and inspector designees the FAA and FCAA authoritiesBachelor's degree from a four-year College or University and a minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
