Job Title: Fabrication EngineerLocation: Tulsa, OK Department: EngineeringReports To: VP of EngineeringJob Type: Full-Time Summary:The Fabrication Engineer is responsible for designing mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and optimizing production efficiency through nesting operations on CNC machinery. This role plays a critical part in supporting AID's manufacturing processes by ensuring accurate fabrication data, maximizing material usage, and streamlining workflow from design to production.Responsibilities:Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks in accordance with project specifications and manufacturing capabilities.Support Engineering team as needed for proposals and submittals.Generate detailed part and assembly drawings for internal fabrication and external vendors as needed.Prepare and manage nesting files for CNC cutting equipment to ensure efficient material usage and production throughput.Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and ease of assembly.Maintain an organized library of fabrication drawings, models, and nesting programs.Identify and implement improvements in design practices, material utilization, and CNC programming processes.Support production troubleshooting related to fabrication design or nesting outputs.Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and internal best practices.Must submit to pre-employment background, drug, and alcohol screening.
