This position will be responsible for coordinating operations between sheet metal and weld shop. Duties include organizing orders and ensuring part flow from Sheet metal to completion in weld shop, as well as programming parts for fabrication. PRINCIPAL DUTIES:Support ISO 9001:2015 Quality SystemProgram parts on Laser and Amada BrakeEnsure parts are pulled to support production requirementsCoordinate completion of sheet metal parts to meet weld shop shortagesKeep part storage organized and accurateSupport operations with special projectsAssist in training support duties for weld shopComplete transactions in syteline for material transfersFill in for absenteeism as necessaryOther duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS:2 Years of materials experienceUnderstanding relevant quality standards, manufacturing processes. Weld shop process knowledgeUse, read, and interpret measurement tools, such as tape measures, calipers, feeler gauges, test, gauges, etc.Strong communication SkillsAbility to read blueprintsAttention to detail.
