Responsibilities
Create and implement preventive maintenance plans for all shop equipment.
Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on various systems.
Oversee electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair tasks.
Manage HVAC service, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Perform conduit pulling and pneumatics troubleshooting as needed.
Utilize tape measures and other tools for accurate measurements.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and EHS management protocols.
Handle heavy material and rigging/load handling tasks safely.
Set up and changeover CNC machines as required.
Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel and heavy equipment systems.
Maintain and repair hydraulic systems and components.
Oversee crane and lifting equipment systems operations.
Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety.
Perform spindle maintenance and repair as needed.
Install and wire equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
Work with variable frequency drives (VFD) and conveyor systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot servo motors and related systems.
Qualifications
Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a fabrication shop environment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with a focus on safety.
Commercial electrical expertise with hands-on experience in installation and repair.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, including service, installation, and troubleshooting.
Experience with heavy material handling and rigging/load handling.
Familiarity with CNC machine setup and changeover processes.
Proficient in equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Understanding of hydraulic systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and EHS management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Certification in relevant fields (e.g., HVAC, electrical) is a plus.
