Our Client is seeking a Fabrication Technician to join their team. This is a long-term temporary role with excellent potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Fabrication Technician"s responsibilities will include:
- Build, assemble, and repair structures made of wood, laminate, wallboard, etc.
- Read blueprints and sketches to determine specifications, dimensions, and materials needed
- Cut materials according to specifications using hand tools, machines, etc.
- Ensure that all projects meet quality standards
- Assemble and install display products
- Work with tech displays when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain appropriate documentation
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications for the Fabrication Technician:
- Experienced in using hand tools, machines, power saws, etc.
- Able to lift 75lbs
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, etc. for prolonged periods
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, $18/hr.
