Location: Prior Lake, MinnesotaReports to: Manufacturing SupervisorCollaborates with: Welding, AssemblyPrimary Responsibility: The Fabricator is responsible for the production components to internal and customer requirements.Shift: 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:30am with overtime as necessary; sometimes required. What We Offer: Health, Dental & Vision InsuranceAnnual Bonus Program$350 Annual Wellness CreditFlexible Spending Account (FSA)401k with match up to 5%Life insuranceDisability insurance6 days of paid sick leave annually12 days PTO annually (prorated based on start date)$350 Production reimbursement programWhat You'll Do:Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication techniques and methods such as shearing, rolling sawing, plasma cutting, punching, and forming the metals.Prepare sheet metal for welding per specs.To meet and/or exceed standards for safety, productivity, housekeeping, and attendanceInterpretation of blueprints and written part requirements.Process inspection, certification, and documentation as needed.Read parts list and determine if all parts are present.Interpret measurements and verify specifications.Cut, shape metals to be prepped for the welders.Other duties as assigned.What Qualifies You:High School Diploma.1 (+) year(s) experience in a metal shop manufacturing environment.Proven decision making and analytical skills.Proficient in the use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, forklifts, and cranesAbility to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervisionExcellent verbal communication skillsAbility to produce high quality products in a timely mannerMust be able to lift to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift.Knowledge of safe workplace practices.Starting pay begins at $21.00/hour, with potential for more depending on your background and experience!Equal Opportunity: MIRATECH is an equal opportunity employer and supports a diverse and inclusive workforce.
