Our Partner is expanding its Harrison, NJ fabrication facility and is looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse, high-profile projects throughout the New York City area while developing your skills across the full fabrication process.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Cut, assemble, and weld metal components for stairs and railings using blueprints and fabrication drawings.
-Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux welding from various positions and ensure finished work meets quality standards.
-Review drawings and completed work for errors, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary corrections.
-Move throughout the fabrication facility to support various projects, working independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience
-3+ years of metal fabrication experience, specifically working with rails, stairs, and beams.
-Proficiency in Primarily MIG, as well as TIG, and Flux welding from all positions.
-Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend blueprints and fabrication drawings.
-Hands-on experience fabricating metal components from raw material through finished product.
Preferred Skills & Experience
-Experience fabricating stairs and railings.
-Experience working in a large-scale fabrication facility or on commercial/architectural projects.
Compensation & Benefits
$26-$30/hour, based on experience.
-Full-time, in-person position in Harrison, NJ.
