We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Facilities Administrator to join our team in the Engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of talented professionals, providing top-notch support to our facilities operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating facility maintenance and safety, vendor relationships, and work order processes. This role will also involve strategic planning and implementation of facilities projects, ensuring that our infrastructure meets the needs of our growing organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring they are maintained in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
2. Establish and manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and contractors, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to deadlines and budgets.
3. Develop and implement a robust work order process, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to address maintenance issues promptly.
4. Conduct regular facilities inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
5. Collaborate with the management team on strategic planning for facilities projects, including renovations, expansions, and new construction.
6. Manage facility-related budgets, including maintenance, repairs, and capital expenditures, providing regular reports to management on cost and performance metrics.
7. Coordinate with other departments to understand their facility needs, developing solutions that support their operations and align with our company’s strategic goals.
8. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in facilities management, applying this knowledge to improve our processes and systems.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a facilities management or administrative role, preferably in the engineering industry.
2. Proven experience managing work order processes, including coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
3. Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance and safety regulations.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
7. Proficiency in using facilities management software and other relevant technology.
8. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business administration, is preferred.
9. Professional certification in facilities management, such as CFM or FMP, is a plus.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed.
