Facilities Assistant REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager CLASSIFICATION: Full-time HOURS PER WEEK: 40 WORK LOCATION: Durant, OK - Onsite ROLE SUMMARY Supports campus operations by directly assisting the Facilities Manager in maintaining and preparing spaces for services, events, and handling repairs and logistics. Lead groups and ministries in developing a biblical foundation and a life of faith. [NOT REQUIRED] ADMINISTRATIVE “I contribute through organization.” Ensure smooth operations through planning, scheduling, and coordination. Advanced the mission by managing resources, logistics, and processes efficiently. [LOW] TEAM LEADERSHIP “I lead through influence” Lead teams by fostering open communication, leveraging strengths, building trust in influencing decisions, and coaching to achieve goals. [MEDIUM] INNOVATION “I contribute through creative solutions.” Bring ideas to life through design, media, or problem-solving, and create solutions that engage, inspire, or enhance ministry outcomes. [MEDIUM] TASK-BASED “I deliver through execution.” Prioritize and accomplish tasks with accuracy, reliability, and focus [HIGH] GUARDIAN “I protect by following and enforcing the rules.” Safeguard integrity. Enforce policies, procedures, and regulations, guarding against errors and maintaining alignment with established practices. [HIGH] QUALIFICATIONS
COMPENSATION STATEMENT Compensation for this position is generally structured around $14 per hour. Depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications, the final offer may be above or below this amount, subject to pre-established budgetary constraints. WORK SCHEDULE
COMPLIANCE NOTICE PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequently lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. The role involves prolonged standing and walking, as well as frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and the use of tools or equipment. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and mechanical hazards. The employee must be able to safely operate equipment and maintain awareness of surroundings in a physically active environment.
