Job Title: Facilities Coordinator
Job Location: Morrisville, NC 27560
Job Duration: 6 Months Contract and High Possibility of Extension
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM EST
Job Description:
As a Facilities coordinator, you will provide basic support to conference services and soft services operations across the site. This entry-level role focuses on carrying out routine tasks to help maintain meeting spaces and workplace environments to an acceptable standard.
Major Job Responsibilities: Conference Services Support
Assist with setting up and resetting meeting rooms (furniture layout, basic equipment, refreshments)
Check rooms are clean, tidy, and ready for use
Report issues with meeting rooms or equipment
Provide basic on-the-day support for meetings when required
Soft Services Support
Support delivery of services such as cleaning, waste, and catering
Carry out basic checks to ensure areas are clean and presentable
Report any service issues to supervisors
General Facilities Tasks
Help raise or log simple service requests
Carry out routine site checks and report faults or issues
Support with moving equipment, furniture, or supplies as needed
Assist with basic administrative or record-keeping tasks
Vendor & Team Support
Work alongside team members and supervisors to complete daily tasks
Assist contractors or service providers when required
Follow instructions for supporting service delivery
Customer Service
Provide a polite and helpful service to employees and visitors
Respond to simple queries and direct more complex issues to others
Health, Safety & Compliance
Follow all site health and safety procedures
Use equipment and materials safely
Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions
Job Knowledge :
High school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Previous experience in conference and meeting support is beneficial but not essential
Job Complexity :
Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment.
Has little or no role in decision-making.
Qualifications:
Basic education (e.g., secondary school or equivalent)
Previous experience in maintenance, manual work, or facilities support is beneficial but not essential
