Facilities Maintenance Assistant

This position combines warehouse operations support with general maintenance tasks, ensuring both the facility and its equipment remain safe, clean, and functional.

**Core Daily Upkeep:

**

• Sort, place, and store materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Restock supplies and maintain organized storage areas
• Maintain daily inventory records using computerized systems, conduct periodic stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with loading/unloading goods and palletizing.
• Perform routing repairs and minor maintenance on warehouse equipment.
• Replace light bulbs, paint small areas, and maintain tools and machinery.
• Assist in building displays, fixtures, and shelving
• Clean warehouse floors, offices, break rooms and restrooms.
• Empty trash, operate garbage compactors, and bale carboard.
• Maintain grounds outside the warehouse (leaf blowing, litter pickup, roof checks, pressure washing).
• Check daily schedules for assigned tasks and maintenance jobs.
• Assist other departments as required.
• Operate grit blasting machine to clean, smooth, or shape metal parts, castings, and other materials (inhouse training).
• Employee Must have a reliable transportation, Valid Driver's License.

You should be proficient in:

• Driver's License
• General Warehouse experience
• Light Building Maintenance
• Janitorial
