Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Coordinator to ensure facilities, building services, equipment, and production equipment remain code compliant, reliable, and optimized. You'll perform basic maintenance and repairs and engage third parties as needed.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, building systems, and production equipment to minimize disruption
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and facilities cost-reduction initiatives
• Prepare cost estimates, project proposals, and capital expenditure requests; negotiate and manage maintenance and modification contracts
• Direct contractors and assigned employees on projects; serve as the primary emergency responder for facility issues
• Communicate project status and maintain required maintenance logs and files
• Ensure employees and contractors are trained to operate facility equipment

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of facilities maintenance and operations experience
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical codes and systems
• Experience using basic hand tools (sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, multi-meter) and successfully negotiating facilities/maintenance contracts
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and serve as first point of contact for facility emergencies

Preferred

• Associate's degree in a related field
• 5+ years of facilities and operations experience in a manufacturing environment
• Highly skilled and experienced in HVAC systems maintenance
