Summary

The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California's Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

What You''ll Do

Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and minor machinery repairs. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical; heating, ventilation, plumbing, etc.) Perform other tasks as assigned. Skill set should include basic office skills.

Nature of Duties:

• Order parts, supplies and maintain required documents.
• Schedules vendors and related work.
• Mechanical / Machine repair experience is a plus.
• Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations
• Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g., wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g., replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.).
• Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.g., preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.).
• Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts' modular offices and space (e.g. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc.) to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand, power and specialty tools, dollies and hand trucks.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• Must be able to work flexible hours

What You''ll Bring

• Requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.
• Requires High School Diploma.
• Good oral and written communication skills are a must.
• Good PC skills using Excel, Word and internet.
• Able to work on assignments complex in nature.
• Capable of working independently with little or no direction.
• Able to work in a team environment and has a stable work history.
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
• A successful candidate must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

At Sanmina, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $52,000 and $62,400 ($25.00 - $30.00) per hour, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
