As a Facility Maintenance Coordinator, you will coordinate the maintenance and repair at all our SMI Facilities.
- Creates & close work orders and purchase orders for repairs as they are completed.
- Schedules internal FMT (Facility Maintenance Technician) as well as external.
- Vendors/companies directly with sites to complete repairs in timely matter.
- Adheres to Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines relative to department operations.
- Willingness to be On Call on weekends occasionally.
- Process and manage incoming work orders from onsite staff including Regional Managers.
- Assign work orders to qualified vendors.
- Follow up on work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
- Review pricing and estimates to ensure that SimonMed Imaging is getting the best value for work.
- Receive approval from upper management based off the 3-tier approval process prior to work being completed.
- Document work being completed.
- Interview vendors regularly and maintain relationships with existing vendors. Including finding new vendors.
- Communicate with onsite staff on the approval process (if any) and with FMT.
- Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
- Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Has an understanding of what Medical Imaging equipment
- Knowledge of basic Facility Maintenance/repair
- Experience in commercial property management
- Has 1 to 2 years’ experience in service coordinating type roles is a plus.
Physical Demands
- This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
