Facilities Maintenance Technician Bohemia, NY Join the amazing team of talented and dedicated employees at Dayton T. Brown, Inc.!As a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will help maintain, improve, and support DTB's Bohemia, NY facilities. The position will cover two large buildings and 31 acres of property. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys variety, and is willing to assist with a broad range of facility maintenance activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Support day-to-day maintenance, repair, renovation, and improvement of DTB's facilities and groundsBuild new offices and renovate existing areas throughout the facilitySupport general corporate maintenance activities across two large buildings and 31 acres of propertyAssist with HVAC-related maintenance and repairsAssist with rebuilding motors and replacing mechanical seals and pumpsAssist with electrical work, including EMT and PVC conduit installationPerform basic plumbing and other facility maintenance tasks as neededSafely use common hand and power tools, company equipment, and facility maintenance equipmentOperate company equipment to plow and clear snow, including snow blowersPrioritize multiple maintenance requests and complete additional duties as assignedRequired Qualifications: Min. of a High School Diploma, or equivalent, required3+ years of experience in carpentry, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or related skilled tradeStrong carpentry skills, including construction, repair, renovation, and installationExperience with basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenanceAbility to safely use common hand and power tools and facility maintenance equipmentAbility to troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipDependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a teamProfessional, positive attitude and ability to work effectively with coworkersAbility to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and respond to facility needsAbility to physically lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to work outdoors and operate snow-removal equipment as neededWillingness to perform other facilities and maintenance duties as assignedUS citizenship requiredDayton T.
