Job Posting

The City of Elk River is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to maintain City facilities, mechanical systems, equipment, and grounds. This is a full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, with adjusted summer hours. Responsibilities include HVAC and building systems maintenance, general repairs, groundskeeping, snow removal, and facility upkeep.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license with a good driving record, Minnesota Special Boiler's License, basic computer skills, and one year of building maintenance or related experience. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and be available to respond to alarms and emergencies outside regular work hours.

Preferred Qualifications: Class B CDL, supervisory experience, experience with computerized climate controls, and experience working with HVAC contractors to troubleshoot.
