Facilities Maintenance Technician

RW Zant | Los Angeles, CA | Full-Time | On-Site

Pay: $28–$34 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM | Some weekends required

RW Zant is looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our refrigerated food distribution facility running safely and efficiently.

We're looking for a hands-on problem-solver with commercial or industrial refrigeration experience (Freon-based systems) who knows how to troubleshoot equipment, perform repairs, and prevent downtime.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and troubleshoot refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance and facility repairs.

• Diagnose equipment issues and minimize downtime.

• Maintain warehouse equipment, plumbing, and building systems.

• Complete work orders and maintenance records.

• Support safety inspections and facility compliance.

• Assist with equipment repairs and outside contractors.

What You'll Bring

• Required: Experience with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems, including Freon-based refrigerants.

• 3+ years of facility or industrial maintenance experience preferred.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.

• Experience in cold storage, food distribution, or warehouse environments preferred.

• EPA Section 608 certification preferred; required for work involving regulated refrigerants.
