The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports a large, modern commercial campus by responding to and troubleshooting a wide range of facility-related work orders. This role focuses on maintaining building systems, resolving general maintenance issues, and supporting day-to-day operations in office and lab spaces with high activity and technical equipment. The technician works independently across multiple buildings, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for all occupants.
ResponsibilitiesThis role offers access to a comprehensive benefits package, subject to eligibility, that supports your health, financial security, and work-life balance. Depending on your classification and length of employment, you may be eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as critical illness, accident, and hospital plans. You can take advantage of a 401(k) retirement plan with both pre-tax and post-tax contribution options, voluntary life and AD&D insurance for you and your dependents, and short- and long-term disability coverage. Additional offerings may include a Health Spending Account (HSA), transportation benefits, an Employee Assistance Program, and access to paid time off or leave programs such as PTO, vacation, or sick leave. These benefits are designed to provide flexibility, support your well-being, and help you plan for the future.
Work EnvironmentThe role is based in large, modern indoor facilities that include office and lab spaces, as well as robotics-focused areas with high-tech equipment. The environment is commercial and industrial in nature, with high activity and a strong emphasis on reliable building operations. You will frequently travel between buildings using a golf cart to access various office and lab areas across the campus. The position requires comfort working independently across multiple sites and navigating large buildings. The schedule includes working swing shift hours from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. after an initial training period that runs from 8:00 a.m. to a later afternoon time for the first month.
