Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85053 (100% onsite)
Duration: 6-9 month contract (Temp. to Perm.)
Pay: $25/hr.
Schedule: 40 hours weekly, Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs
Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural issues
Support facilities operations across nine locations
Coordinate and escort vendors and contractors
Track and update work orders through CMMS
Maintain inventory of supplies, filters, lighting, and parts
Review vendor work and invoices
Assist with facilities projects and site improvements
Support physical security responsibilities as assigned
Perform general handyman and maintenance duties
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
2 years of hands-on experience in facilities/building maintenance or general handyman work.
Ability to read and interpret basic schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and layouts.
Ability to assist with on-site vendor and contractor management (escorts, explaining problems).
Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move items up to 25 lbs.
Working knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems for routine diagnosis.
Valid Arizona Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous customer service experience.
Background or training in safety programs, safety awareness, or OSHA-related topics.
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Experience working in multi-site facilities operations.
