Facilities Manager

Our manufacturing client in the Greenfield, MA area is seeking to hire a Facilities Manager for a Direct Hire opportunity. Your qualifications for the Facilities Manager position are:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5-7 years of progressive maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience leading maintenance teams and driving equipment reliability initiatives
• Strong understanding of budgeting, resource planning, and continuous improvement practices
• Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and make sound business decisions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information professionally

For the Facilities Manager position, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Lead maintenance and reliability programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance and continuous improvement strategies
• Manage, mentor, and develop a maintenance team of approximately 20-25 employees, including supervisory staff
• Oversee departmental budgets, contractor services, spare parts inventory, and maintenance expenditures
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions related to equipment failures
• Support capital projects, equipment installations, and commissioning activities
• Partner with operations and EHS teams to promote a safe, compliant, and productive work environment
• Champion Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives across manufacturing operations
