POSITION SUMMARY

The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing operational and capital projects that support Performing Arts Center Authority's strategic objectives and facility needs. This position oversees projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, timelines, budgets, and operational requirements while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to achieve successful outcomes.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage all assigned projects including definition of a project's scope, goals, deliverables, tasks, and resource requirements.
  • Assemble resources as needed and coordinate their duties and responsibilities.
  • Manage and administer project budget and resource allocations
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and deliverables.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet goals and objectives.
  • Communicate progress, status, and issues to management via verbal/written status reports or by delivering engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations.
  • Continually analyze and evaluate project results in order to identify opportunities and threats related to the successful completion of assigned projects.
  • Assist the Director of Facilities in creating documents,  conducting research on various topics and the development of strategic plans..
  • Support other Senior Team members/Directors as needed on various projects.
  • Actively seek out, be receptive to, and respond to input from all departments ideas related to operational processes and related outcomes.
  • Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects and initiatives from scope through implementation.
  • Be knowledgeable of departmental priorities in order to coordinate project strategies with key stakeholders to ensure an updated and shared understanding of challenges and opportunities.
  • Identify operational processes that would benefit from redesign, development, implementation, and continuous improvement in order to optimize Facility Department effectiveness.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years’ minimum experience in operational project management
