Your impact

• Own the building systems and equipment that power our Customer Fulfillment Center, ensuring safe, reliable operations and OSHA compliance.
• Design and manage preventive maintenance for new and existing assets; track parts inventory and vendor activity.
• Lead custodial operations and maintain a precise hazardous materials log.
• Cultivate cross-functional relationships; participate on teams that drive continuous improvement.
• Engage associates in our Safety Culture and share best practices across MSC CFCs.
• Support capital and operating budget planning for facility assets.
• Handle pest mitigation and perform electrical/mechanical troubleshooting when needed.
• Temporarily assist in other warehouse functions to meet customer service needs.

What you’ll bring

Education & background

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in facilities or industrial maintenance leadership.

Capabilities

• Comfort with computers and maintenance software.
• Expert-level knowledge of industrial electrical systems (motors, starters, switchgear).
• Mechanical strength with bearings, shafts, speed reducers, sprinkler systems, and related equipment.
• Proficiency with HVAC systems; deep knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Clear communicator who can coach teams and convey technical guidance.
• Willingness to flex schedule and support on-call needs.

Physical & other requirements

• Frequent bending; ability to lift 25–50 lbs.
• Comfort working at heights up to 50 ft and standing for long periods.
• Available for on-call support 24/7.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required.

Schedule, pay, and posting

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–11:00 pm (subject to change based on business needs)

Compensation starting at $70,000 - $90,000 depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
