Job Title: Bi-lingual Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all facilities, including building systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors for repairs and upgrades.

Team Leadership:

• Lead a high-performing facilities team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to create a secure working environment.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upgrades.

Emergency Response:

• Implement emergency response plans, ensuring the readiness of the facilities team to address critical situations promptly and effectively.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and management.
• Provide regular updates on facilities-related matters and address inquiries promptly.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, facilities, and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to management and health authorities as required.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, make informed decisions, and prioritize effectively

Environmental Factors and other requirements:  

• The essential functions of this position are performed outdoors in high temperatures and prolonged humidity. Ability to sustain physical labor and maintain focus during prolonged exposure to extreme heat and humidity 
• Ability to safely navigate, lift, and maneuver equipment on chronically wet, slick, and slimy surfaces 
• Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) 
• May involve bending, crouching, and crawling 
• Ability to problem solve efficiently and think on your feet
• Ability to delegate and multitask in high pressure situations 
• Ability to walk, stand, and climb in order to complete various service tickets
