What we're looking for:

The successful candidate should be a hands-on problem solver who is comfortable working independently while also being part of a team. The position requires good judgment, strong troubleshooting skills, attention to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of building maintenance or skilled-trades experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently perform general maintenance and moderately complex repairs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building-system problems.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license.

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • Commercial HVAC and refrigeration
  • Building automation/DDC controls
  • Hydronic heating and cooling systems
  • Steam or boiler systems
  • Pumps, motors, VFDs, and related mechanical equipment
  • Commercial electrical systems, including three-phase/480-volt equipment
  • Fire alarm and sprinkler systems
  • Commercial plumbing
  • High-rise or large commercial/institutional facility maintenance
  • Energy management and lighting controls

Trade certifications, apprenticeships, professional credentials, EPA Section 608 certification, or other relevant technical training are preferred.
