SUMMARY
The Brewery Ommegang Tap House is looking for happy and energetic people to add to our stellar team! As a host you will be responsible for greeting customers and monitoring the activities of guests while they visit Brewery Ommegang. This position requires standing for long periods of time and having a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends. The perfect candidate will also love our beer! High season is typically early May through early October.
Brewery Ommegang is located at 656 Co Hwy 33, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet visitors in warm friendly manner
- Inform guests of policies, and areas available for their enjoyment
- Maintain communication with management
- Answer general information questions
- Answer questions about activities at the brewery
- Assist in keeping the grounds neat and tidy
- Support the collection and disposal of liter
- Maintain clean equipment
- Assist servers and/or front of the house lead when necessary
- Monitor guests for safe behavior and communicate with parents as needed
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under high pressure situations
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends
- Good oral communication skills
- Work with integrity, enthusiasm and possess good work ethics
