    Description

    Audubon is currently seeking a Facility/Advanced Inspection Supervisor to join our team at the Houston Office. The Facility/Advanced Inspection Supervisor will support and grow facility integrity inspection operations, reporting directly to the Director of Facility NDE. This position includes both office and field-based responsibilities with a focus on executing inspection projects, developing client relationships, recruiting and mentoring field personnel, and expanding regional service capabilities.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company and client safety standards.
    • Execute and supervise facility-based NDE projects, including advanced inspection methods.
    • Serve as the primary field leader and liaison clients and company management.
    • Support and manage day-to-day operations of field crews; provide technical guidance and field leadership.
    • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new inspection technicians in the region.
    • Perform hands-on inspections using conventional and advanced NDE techniques (UTT, AUT, PAUT, GUL, etc.).
    • Provide quality control oversight on data collection and report accuracy.
    • Assist with writing and reviewing inspection reports and ensuring client deliverables are met.
    • Maintain certifications and ensure all crew certifications and qualifications are current.
    • Coordinate logistics and scheduling of projects with internal planning teams.
    • Engage in business development, including client interface, proposal support, and identifying regional growth opportunities.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

    Required Experience & Education

    • Minimum 6-8 years of NDE experience in facilities, terminals, or industrial settings
    • 2+ years in a supervisory, foreman, or lead technician role
    • Experience with both conventional and advanced NDE methods preferred
    • Familiarity with managing crews, client relationships, and report quality assurance
    • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred

    Technical Skills

    • Current API 510, API 570, or API 653 certifications preferred
    • ASNT Level II in UT required (Level III or additional methods a plus)
    • Hands-on experience with AUT, PAUT, or other advanced methods highly desirable
    • Competent in technical report writing and client communication
    • Ability to mentor junior personnel and support technician development
    • Comfortable working in a field environment under varying site conditions
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel
