Facility Maintenance Position Summary
Glick Fire Equipment Company, Inc. is a family-owned-and-operated business that employs more than 100 people throughout Pennsylvania. We offer high quality products and service for Fire & EMS companies. The Facility Maintenance position will work Monday – Friday; 7:30am – 4:00pm, alongside other customer service employees to achieve optimum efficiency and excellent customer service, in keeping with the values and vision of Glick Fire Equipment.
 
Facility Maintenance Job Responsibilities
  • Facility maintenance – must have a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and building maintenance
  • Grounds maintenance – including lawn maintenance, landscaping and snow removal
  • Vehicle maintenance - perform preventative and routine maintenance
  • Work with other technicians in performing preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Parts Runner – provide fast and efficient service in picking up and delivering parts orders
  • Assist with the parts department cycle counting
  • Help in the shop when needed
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Facility Maintenance Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • A valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver’s License (PA CDL) with air brake & tanker endorsement is required
  • 1-3 years previous experience in facility maintenance preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and bend at the knees
  • Must be a self-starter and committed to quality work
  • Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility
  • Trustworthy, responsible, organized and detail oriented
