Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Preform drywall repairs including drywall replacement.
Maintain facility structure by prepping walls/ceiling for paint, painting wall/ceilings, caulking where needed, minor repairs to floors and filling relief cuts.
Perform preventive maintenance on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units including cleaning of inside and outside of unit.
Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
Make repairs or adjustments to keep equipment in production.
Perform various activities related to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment to involve dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting and aligning operations.
Maintain required maintenance logs and files in preferred program.
Perform routine housekeeping activities in the department and ensure adherence to established safety procedures and requirements.
Respond to urgent maintenance issues causing a major deficit to production/operations, and repair or troubleshoot the problem until production can resume accordingly. This includes on-call requirements, as this position is responsible for being on call as a part of an on-call rotation and schedule dictated.
Maintain and utilize 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot or provide routine preventative maintenance appropriate for corresponding equipment and procedures at the direction or approval of the Plant Maintenance supervisor.
Follows Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP) guidelines as it refers to proper technique and quality.
Cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position and follows GMP's.
Work together well with a variety of personalities and individuals and participate in a professional manner to accomplish the business goal (quality bakery, great customer service).

Requires the use of steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
FDA-classified "major allergens" are processed in our facilities, including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts, sesame seeds. Incumbent must be able to work in an environment with changing temperatures from 50 degrees Fahrenheit to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Incumbent may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, loud equipment and machines, and other environmental hazards. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
