Department Information
The Colorado Department of Military & Veterans Affairs (DMVA) has three major operational divisions: Colorado National Guard, Civil Air Patrol, and Veterans Affairs. These divisions utilize state and federal resources to provide our communities, state, and nation with a ready military force for national defense and state emergency response as well as providing assistance to our Colorado veterans.

Description of Job
This position is a part of our Army Division, Planning and Programming (P&P) Branch, located at Joint Force Headquarters in Centennial. The work schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Additional work outside of these regular hours may be required based on operational needs. This position will provide support and act as a liaison in the development, implementation, coordination, and oversight of project goals and activities during all phases of project life cycle for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA). Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience Only:
Six (6) years of relevant experience in facility planning, construction project management/coordination, real property specialization, military installation planning, master planning or related field.
OR
Education and Experience:
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in facility planning, construction project management/coordination, real property specialization, military installation planning, master planning or related field equaling to six (6) years.
College Transcripts:
If you are using education to qualify, a legible copy of your official or unofficial college transcript(s) must be submitted with your application. Transcripts must show the name of the school, completed credit hours, and (if applicable) that a degree, certificate, or apprenticeship or was conferred. Hold a valid State of Colorado Driver License
Willingness to travel based on business needs
Must be able to pass a background check at initial employment (felony convictions in backgrounds are not consistent with departmental and position security requirements and cannot be considered).
