Failure Analysis Technician (Contract, Long-Term Potential)
Location: Wilmington, MA (on-site)
Pay: $28–$38/hour

A growing robotics company is looking for a hands-on Failure Analysis Technician. You’ll troubleshoot failed products, find the root cause, and work with engineering to fix it.

What You’ll Do

• Perform failure analysis on returned products and components, and write up the findings.
• Manage nonconforming material (NCMR, MRB, RMAs, dispositions, and returns to suppliers).
• Keep ERP transactions and inventory accurate.
• Inspect incoming materials as needed.
• Support corrective action and quality improvement efforts.

What You Need

• 4+ years in a mechatronics or electromechanical manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years troubleshooting PCBAs, motors, sensors, and cabling.
• Experience with root cause analysis methods such as 8D, CAPA, or FMEA.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
• Strong spreadsheet and report-writing skills.

Nice to Have: Robotics or Linux experience, Python or SQL skills, an ASQ certification.
