    Summary

    Core Faculty Physician – Family Medicine Residency Program

    Join Samaritan Health Services’ Family Medicine Residency Program as a Core Faculty Physician. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of family physicians while maintaining a rewarding clinical practice. Our program combines academic excellence with compassionate care in Oregon’s beautiful mid-Willamette Valley and Central Coast.

    Position Overview

    60% Academic Responsibilities | 40% Clinical Practice

    Areas of need include:

    • Outpatient Clinic
    • Inpatient Medicine
    • Obstetrics
    • Community Medicine
    • Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS)
    • Scholarly Activity

    Practice in a 5-star PCPCH with care coordination, behavioral health, and pharmacy support

    Collaborate with an award-winning health system serving 300,000 residents

    Academic Responsibilities
    • Supervise residents in clinical settings appropriate to their level of training
    • Work with the Program Director to maintain accreditation standards and ensure board eligibility
    • Develop and implement curriculum; lead didactics and educational sessions
    • Facilitate educational conferences with faculty and specialists
    • Engage in scholarship and promote inquiry at regional and national levels
    • Participate in faculty development to enhance teaching, leadership, and clinical skills
    Clinical Responsibilities
    • Join a well-established, dynamic faculty team including behavioral health
    • Serve a diverse patient population from our university town and surrounding rural communities
    • Inpatient Medicine and/or Obstetrics experience preferred
    • Phone call only
    Job Requirements
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine
    • Excellent clinical and communication skills
    • Strong commitment to team-based care
    • Eligibility to work in the United States
