Description
A health services network in New York City is seeking a licensed Family Medicine Physician to join their growing team.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (1 Saturday or Sunday per month)
- Hours: 9am to 5pm (one later night per week)
- Setting: Outpatient
- Patient Population: All ages
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive healthcare in accordance with the philosophy, standard of practice, objectives, and policies of the organization
- Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of common and chronic illness
- Promote health and disease promotion through patient education and counseling
- Develop plans of care based on the diagnosis and individual client needs
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team and make referrals to other disciplines if needed
Qualifications:
- License to practice medicine in New York
- Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine
- Interest in community health and working with diverse populations
