Duties:

Will the worker have any face-to-face interaction with patients/members? YES
Will the worker be travelling to patient/member homes? Will the worker be travelling to community/non-residential locations to meet with patients/members? NO
What patient population will this worker be supporting? How many patients can they expect to see per day?
4-10 patients, spouses and dependents ages 8 and above. Children are for sick visits only.
What is the makeup of the existing personnel? (is there a Dr onsite, NP, RNs, etc)
1 part time NP
If this role is for a Nurse Practitioner, is prescriptive authority required? Yes
Are there specialties that the worker should have experience in? How much? (Family medicine, urgent care, geriatrics, pediatrics, etc.) Family Medicine and ability to work solo.
Would this worker be working in a lab setting of any kind? If so, please explain type of lab, what they will be working with, etc.
From roles outside of a lab setting, is phlebotomy required?
Drawing and processing labs and providing point of care testing.
Provides assistance and support to physicians and other medical providers in assessing, planning, and providing patient care. Requires a current RN license and completion of a certified Practitioner program.
