    Description

    The Family Support Worker will provide direct support and assistance to families to help them achieve stability and improve their overall well-being. This role involves assessing family needs, offering guidance, and connecting them with appropriate resources and services by using your bilingual skills in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole.

    What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference in the Lives of Families...

    • Provide information and educational resources to family members
    • Assist families in identifying resources to meet individual family needs
    • Develop the Family Resource Center calendar
    • Host parent and Youth Support groups
    • Complete all documentation in a timely manner
    • Provide support to volunteers

    Requirements

    • Experience with working with youth and families
    • Experience with educational systems preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • At minimum, basic verbal fluency in English and Spanish required
    • Strong Computer Skills
