Farm Manager Overview: GPAC has joined forces with a prominent row crop operation in Michigan to seek a dedicated Farm Manager. This exciting opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about agriculture, seeking professional growth, and potentially aiming for succession within the next five years.

Farm Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee a large-scale farm operation covering over 15,000 acres, specializing in corn, hay, and alfalfa cultivation.
• Utilize expertise in row crop cultivation and demonstrate a solid understanding of large farm operations.
• Ensure efficient operation of farm equipment and promptly address maintenance requirements.
• Provide strong leadership to a substantial team of full-time and seasonal employees.
• Foster a supportive agricultural community within the operation.
• Contribute to the long-term success of the farm.

Farm Manager Qualifications:

• Previous experience in row crop cultivation and large farm operations.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining farm equipment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Passion for agriculture and commitment to fostering a supportive community.
