Farmers Insurance, Sara Gerau Agency in Jackson, Missouri, is seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our growing team as a Full-Time Insurance Apprentice. If you have strong communication and relationship-building skills, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career with excellent income and growth potential.

In this role, you will help customers explore insurance coverage that fits their needs while focusing on insurance sales, lead generation, prospecting, customer service, and business development. You will build customer relationships, follow up with prospective customers, and work toward sales goals while contributing to our local agencys growth.

Experience in sales, customer service, telemarketing, marketing, retail sales, or account management can provide a strong foundation for success in this position.

No previous insurance experience is required. If you have proven sales experience in another industry, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to learn, we can teach you about the insurance industry. Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.

• Willing to obtain Insurance Licenses for Property/ Casualty and Life/Health.
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
• Problem-Solving Capabilities.
• Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
