Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale federal construction projects valued at $80M+. The ideal candidate has a proven background managing USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, VA, or GSA projects, with barracks or military housing experience strongly preferred.

This individual will oversee all phases of construction—from preconstruction through closeout—while managing project teams, client relationships, budgets, schedules, and overall project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of federal construction projects valued at $80M or greater.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractor contracts, and financial forecasting.
  • Oversee Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and project support staff.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, government representatives, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal contract requirements, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Partner closely with field leadership to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Monitor project financial performance and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
  • Promote a collaborative, quality-focused, and safety-driven project environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience managing large commercial or federal construction projects.
  • Demonstrated success leading projects valued at $80M+ from start to finish.
  • Federal construction experience required (USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, VA, GSA, etc.).
  • Barracks, military housing, or other Department of Defense facility experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal contracting requirements, project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and cost management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
