Job Summary

This position provides cashier support for the GHC Business Office of Student Financial Services.

Responsibilities

  • Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the colleges mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies

  • Receipts all payments to business office

  • Answers telephone and greets visitors; provides information and assistance; refers as appropriate to others

  • Processes all bank deposits

  • Manages petty cash reconciliations

  • Assists in billing of past due accounts

  • Maintains daily reports and bank deposit receipts

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a program of study at Georgia Highlands College, business pathway preferred

  • Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a High School diploma or equivalent, while currently in a course of study related to the occupational field

Proposed Salary

$12.00 per hour
